Interesting indeed. Iron Man seems like it would be a bitch to draw, but you just kicked that out like nobody's business. Especially interesting to see the time you spend polishing the pencils. I have a short attention span and generally rush through all the prep work with a "we'll fix it in Photoshop" attitude. Not really an option when making actual physical art though. :)
I don't do them that often. They are fun to do, but I think I prefer larger pieces. I sometimes tell myself that I wont pencil very detailed and just get it in the inks, but I am not that good yet, so I force myself to really get my pencils tight. Save me stress further down the line.
That was interesting to watch - do you do these cards very often?
